HERE AT HOME 4 minute work sample





HERE AT HOME involved exclusively live video, meaning the images were generated by a camera capturing the actors onstage or by a technician manipulating content live from the audience. In this sample, you will see an actress as the focal point, illuminated by white light. This is video light, coupled with a scratching sound effect. The overall effect is that the blackness of the dark theater is being scratched away to reveal the actress. (One of the characters plays scratch lotto tickets, so contextually, it pans out later.) In the very end, after the transition, you can see the actress' video "shadow," which is her live image captured by a camera.
